About

Baxter Chambers is a lighting designer based out of Toledo, Ohio. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Dept. of Theatre and Film at Bowling Green State University.

Baxter completed his Master of Fine Arts in Theatre at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. Core to his theatrical mindset and art-making process are a holistic approach to theatre creation through intensive dramaturgy, integration of scenographic practices, Chekhovian acting training, and a liberal arts education. ​

In his spare time, Baxter devours a variety of films, games, experimental rap, and noise; all of which fuel his creative aspirations.
